Use this form to officially notify Ramona Property Managers of your intent to move out. Please complete all required fields and provide at least 30 days’ notice as outlined in your lease. After submission, our team will confirm your notice and offer a pre-move out inspection to help ensure the return of your full security deposit.

Pre-Move Out Inspection (Initial Inspection)

In accordance with California Civil Code §1950.5(f), you have the legal right to request an initial inspection of your rental unit prior to your move-out date. The purpose of this inspection is to give you the opportunity to identify and correct potential deductions from your security deposit.

If you choose to request a pre-move out inspection, Ramona Property Managers will schedule the inspection at a mutually convenient time. The inspection must happen within the final two weeks of your tenancy and not within the last 48 hours of your tenancy, unless otherwise agreed in writing. You have the right to be present during this inspection but your presence is not required.

Following the inspection, you will receive an itemized list of proposed deductions, if any. You may choose to address the items listed prior to vacating the unit. Please note that final deductions from the security deposit will also include any necessary repairs identified during the final inspection after possession is returned.

To request an inspection, please indicate your preference when submitting your Notice of Intent to Vacate.
